The live map is half the value. The other half shows up the next day, when someone has to reconstruct what happened and prove it.
Live view
The main view shows teams on duty across the network layout, with each terminal’s status and any active alerts. It is not a street map: it is the schematic of the site, with its platforms, concourses and tunnel sections.

A terminal that stops reporting does not just vanish from the map: it is flagged. A system that silently erases what it does not know is worse than no system.
History and event replay
Any time window can be replayed: where each team was, in what order they moved, when the alert was raised and how long it took to be handled. This is the feature that turns an office argument into a review with data.

There are three common uses: incident investigation, objective evidence for occupational risk prevention, and planning shifts and patrol routes from real coverage rather than theoretical coverage.
Who sees what
Access is governed by roles. A station supervisor does not need to see the whole network, and an analyst reviewing last week’s incident does not need the live view.
- Role-based access control (RBAC) with permissions scoped geographically and functionally
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) enforced, with optional SSO against the operator’s directory
- Audit trail: every query against the history is logged, with user, timestamp and scope
- Anonymisation available for uses that do not require identifying a specific person
That access log is not compliance decoration: it is what lets you answer a works council when it asks who has been looking at their members’ data. More detail in how worker data is handled.
