Wherever Wi-Fi is dense and GPS is absent
Metro is the anchor case, but nothing about the pattern is rail-specific. As soon as Wi-Fi coverage is in place and satellites cannot reach, the answer is the same.
The common condition
Every setting where Metrosafe fits shares three traits. If all three hold, it works. If the first one is missing, there is no project.
- Dense Wi-Fi coverage already installed, with access points able to enable FTM. This is the hard requirement.
- Absent or intermittent satellite signal: indoor, underground or structures that block GPS.
- Mobile personnel whose position matters for coordinating, responding or leaving a record.

Why it replicates without a redesign
What changes between a platform and a hospital corridor is the layout and the calibration, not the system. The fusion engine treats a ranging measurement as an input with an uncertainty; map matching feeds on the site graph, whatever that graph is. Changing sector means loading a new topology and recalibrating, not rewriting the product.
That is also why the second deployment costs a fraction of the first: everything learned on one network transfers whole to the next.
